Burl Knot Ring
The Burl Knot ring is a wood pattern wedding band to symbolise "tying the knot". These wedding rings feature a wood grain pattern that is hand engraved around the ring with a knot detail. The origin of "tying the knot" dates back to the Roman times and Celtic marriage ceremony of handfasting, where the hands of the bride and groom were tied together for a marriage "contract" of one year plus one day. The newlyweds promised to stay together prior to the marriage becoming "legal". If the couple decided to continue their union the marriage was then forever.
