HOW TO FIND YOUR RING SIZE
All our rings are handmade, this means that most designs can be altered or simply a new one made to size! If you wish to propose without knowing the ring size here are some helpful tips, however we can always alter the size at a later date.
At Fiona Rae we only size rings instore for our own designs. This is to ensure the customer has the correct size for a particular ring as band widths & style can vary, thus altering the size needed.
Please contact us and speak to Fiona or a member of her team if at any point you feel unsure. We can help you through any concerns or queries you may have.

Here are our tips for measuring your ring size:
1: As a general rule, rings should go on with ease but a little difficultly taking off, but not to feel uncomfortable when on or removing. Rings should of course be snug enough so that it will not fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.
2: Your finger size can change throughout the day, so it is a good idea to measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest. Do not measure when your hands are either very cold or too hot as this can alter your finger size and lead to an untrue measurement.
3: Rings with a particularly thick band will feel tighter than a thin band; in these cases, we recommend that rings be made a full size larger than your normal ring size or for you to have your finger sized instore by Fiona.
If you’re buying a ring as a gift, you could try to borrow his or her ring (from the correct finger) and use the ring sizer guide on the left to determine its size. You could also bring that ring to us to take a measurement from or simply call us for assistance where Fiona will talk you through all your options, including re-sizing rings to ensure the most perfect fit possible.
HOW TO FIND YOUR NECKLACE CHAIN LENGTH
Here are some basic guidelines when choosing a necklace chain length.
The standard length is 16 to 20 inches which will sit between the base of the throat and collarbone.
The most popular average length for a pendant is 16 inches.
Another method of sizing a necklace is to measure the total length (including clasp) of a necklace that fits you. For greatest accuracy, use a necklace or chain with a similar width to the one you want to purchase.
