This stunning sapphire vitreous enamel brooch is handcrafted from sterling silver and 18ct yellow gold and is set with a 0.66 ct blue sapphire and focuses on attention to detail and the artistry of traditional glass enamelling.

Hand applied thin layers of glass are fused at a high temperature on to the surface of the metal to create this striking and elegant brooch.

This is a is a one-of-a-kind piece and is part of a collection based on rare and endangered species of moths and butterflies. This particular brooch is inspired by the Black Veined Moth.
