THE STEPS TO CREATING YOUR BESPOKE PIECE
Getting To Know You
Each bespoke journey is very unique. Initially we will ask you some questions just to get you thinking and provide us with some background info and more details.
After we have received your answers, we can make an appointment for an introductory meeting at our atelier. Fiona will carefully listen to your story and thoughts to create more detail for your individual design brief. This free consultation usually takes no longer than an hour.
Initial Ideas & Design
After the first meeting Fiona will sketch out some initial ideas influenced by your story, style and thoughts. Together you will sit down to discuss the development of the final design and any tweaks to your custom piece. We shall contact you with the quote which includes the design spec, as your budget will be discussed since the beginning. If you wish to proceed in your commission, at this stage an initial deposit of 50% is required before proceeding with the making.
Creating Your Jewellery
Fiona will use her 30 years of experience and knowledge to help you realise your vision in jewellery, along with a commitment to supreme craftsmanship and personal service. All Fiona's designs are her own creations and is involved in every step of design and making, ensuring personal detail to every piece.
The whole process can take between 8-12 weeks, but more complex designs may need longer.
We appreciate as much time as possible before your deadline but willl strive to meet an earlier date if needed sooner.
Collecting Your Jewellery
The most exciting moment is when your commission is finished and ready for collection. We shall contact you to arrange a time to collect your piece. The final balance is usually paid before collecting or on collection.
We provide all our customers with a complimentary valuation cert on completion and any advice on cleaning and care for your jewellery.
