FIONA RAE

BY APPOINTMENT TO HIS MAJESTY KING CHARLES III

ROYAL WARRANT

Fiona Rae Goldsmiths is delighted to announce that we are one of the first 145 businesses to have been granted a Royal Warrant from His Majesty The King.

BY ROYAL APPOINTMENT

A Royal Warrant of Appointment is granted as a mark of recognition to individuals or companies who have regularly supplied goods or services to the Royal Household. Fiona Rae previously held a Royal Warrant from HRH the Prince of Wales since 2001.

“As a Prince’s Trust business, I am deeply honoured to have been granted a Royal Warrant from His Majesty The King Charles III. I will always be grateful for the initial support that enabled me to launch my business with my first collection in 1992. The award signifies the continuation of a recognition of how myself and the whole dedicated team consistently strive for exceptional quality, craftsmanship, service and excellence in everything we do.”

THE PRINCE'S TRUST

Established in 1990 after being granted a loan from The Princes' Trust, Fiona Rae previously held a Royal Warrant to HRH The Prince of Wales since 2001.
Fiona's work came to the attention of HRH The Prince of Wales, who commissioned a range of pieces she has been supplying for his official gift range since 1994. She has since designed and supplied pieces which have been used as State Gifts by HM The Queen Elizabeth II.
"As one of few small businesses with the privilege of being able to display a Royal Warrant, I am committed to strive at all times for excellence of service and quality."

CHARITABLE WORK

The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust is a charity that transforms the careers of talented and aspiring makers by funding their training and education, creating accessible pathways for the future of the UK’s craft sector.
QEST was founded by the Royal Warrant Holders Association in 1990. In 2017, HM The King became the Patron with Vice-Patrons the Earl of Snowdon and the Marquess of Salisbury.
Fiona Rae was a Trustee of QEST from 2006-2017 and her involvement continues in the role of skills assessor of scholarship and apprentice applications and interviews.

FREEDOM OF THE WORSHIPFUL COMPANY OF GOLDSMITHS

In 2022, Fiona Rae was made a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths. Admission into a livery company is a tradition dating back centuries that was an essential requirement for those who wished to trade within the City. It now stands as a recognition of personal achievement, whilst entitiling them to membership of one of the City's many livery companies.
"I am honoured and proud to be a part of the City's history by becoming a Freeman."
