Enamelled Mint Round Guilloché Diamond Pendant

Hand enamelled sterling silver round guilloché pendant with vitreous enamel in a transparent mint green and set with a brilliant cut white diamond in the centre.

The design is inspired by the decorative technique of Guilloché in which a very precise, intricate and repetitive pattern is mechanically engraved into an underlying material via engine turning. In the 18th century the use of translucent enamel over silver and gold Guilloché designs was used to create stunning jewellery and objects popularised by the Fabergé Egg.

Each pendant is handmade using the traditional art of vitreous enamelling. Thin layers of glass are fused at a high temperature on to the surface of the metal to create this unique piece.

The pendant includes a 17" sterling silver chain and arrives beautifully wrapped in a Fiona Rae gift box.
