Gold Acorn & Rue Charm Bracelet

This beautiful handcrafted gold charm bracelet has five individual charms from Fiona Rae's Woodland Collection. Each piece is inspired by the ancient oaks & foliage grown in Hatfield House Estate once home of Elizabeth I.

The charms are cast from an actual acorn, pinecone & beech nut grown on the estate.  The Rue design takes inspiration from the herb which grows in the West Garden and symbolises both protection and remembrance. Rue is known as the "Herb of Grace" and known for its healing properties. Much favoured by Elizabethans, it is still used today for medical uses.

Each charm and bracelet is handmade from solid silver with gold vermeil, a heavy plating of 18ct gold on sterling silver. The bracelet features a baby acorn set with a fresh water pearl, Rue leaf charm, an acorn cup, a beechnut and a baby pinecone.

Measurement: Bracelet length 18cm. 

This bracelet is a unique piece that is full of meaning and has a special connection to Hatfield House. The bracelet arrives beautifully wrapped with little description cards on the meaning of the charms.
