Gold Rue Earrings

Handcrafted gold Rue leaf shadow earrings are made of solid silver with a silhouette of the Rue design. These beautiful earrings are made of gold vermeil, a heavy plating of 18ct gold on sterling silver.

The design features a herb called Rue which grows within the grounds of Hatfield House and symbolises both protection and remembrance.

Rue is known as the "Herb of Grace" and known for its healing properties.
Much favoured by Elizabethans, it is still used today for medical uses.
