This blue sapphire and gold plated sterling silver Diatom pendant is part of the Fiona Rae Diatom Collection. Made of gold vermeil, a heavy plating of 18ct gold on sterling silver with a brilliant cut white diamond set in the centre of the Diatom design.

The design is based on the pattern of the underside of a toadstool. The toadstool is known to symbolize long life, happiness, rebirth and new beginnings.
