Guilloche Red Bracelet

Guilloché bracelet in red. This design is inspired by the decorative technique of Guilloché in which a very precise, intricate and repetitive pattern is mechanically engraved into an underlying material via engine turning. In the 18th century the use of translucent enamel over silver and gold Guilloché designs was used to create stunning jewellery and objects popularised by the Fabergé Egg.

This bracelet is a rare handmade piece featuring three charms, using the traditional art of vitreous enamelling. Thin layers of glass are fused at a high temperature on to the surface of the metal to create this unique piece.
