A pair of handcrafted Ladybird cufflinks with hand applied vitreous glass enamel in a bright blue, ink blue with red spots. On the reverse is a ink blue enamel Rue leaf shadow. These intricately detailed sterling silver cufflinks are made with a chain fitting adding comfort and personality to any shirt.  

Ladybirds are a symbol of protection, love, joy and prosperity. In folklore a person wearing a ladybird image would keep them safe. The Rue is a herb that grows within the grounds of Hatfield House and symbolises both protection and remembrance.

Each pair of cufflinks are handmade using the traditional art of vitreous enamelling. Thin layers of glass are fused at a high temperature on to the surface of the metal to create this unique piece.
