Hand enamelled sterling silver Diatom earrings with a transparent red vitreous enamel and a white diamond set in the centre.

This rich red enamel has a beautiful depth of colour and is one of most popular  enamel colours in traditional art of enamelling.

The design is based on the pattern of the underside of a toadstool. The toadstool is known to symbolize long life, happiness, rebirth and new beginnings.
